Jordan Bender
Unlike some at his age, at 16 years old Jordan knew exactly what he wanted to do – “Coach and compete in CrossFit”. Not long after he was doing both!
At 21, Jordan has come a long way in a short space of time. Coming from a background of little sport, he immersed himself in the CrossFit world and all that it had to offer him. It was little surprise that Jordan has developed into a rising star of the Australia/NZ community.
Jordan learnt his craft training alongside World CrossFit Games competitors Amy Dracup, Bjorn Walker and Chris Hogan. Not to mention his coach and owner of Schwartz’s CrossFit Melbourne, Benji Schwartz.
Jordan competed at The CrossFit Regionals in 2012 as an individual with a 3rd place finish in event 1 that year, Diane. Jordan placed 36th overall. In 2013 Jordan formed an integral part of the Schwartz’s CrossFit Melbourne team to compete at The World CrossFit Games, teams division.
Jordan himself admits he’s not naturally gifted, but he’s incredibly dedicated to excellence and he never leaves anything on the competition floor.
Jordan’s goal is simple – “Make The CrossFit Games”.
